Privacy Policy - MetWith

Overview

MetWith is a personal relationship manager for macOS and iOS. Your data belongs to you. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information.

Data Storage

All your data — contacts, meetings, groups, relationships, and notes — is stored in a local SQLite database file on your device. MetWith does not use cloud databases, third-party analytics, or external data storage services.

Cross-Device Sync

MetWith offers optional sync between your macOS and iOS devices through an encrypted relay server. When sync is enabled:

All data is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before it leaves.
The encryption key is derived from credentials you provide and is never sent to the server.
The relay server receives only encrypted data it cannot read.
Encrypted data is held temporarily until your other device retrieves it, then deleted.

If you do not enable sync, no data ever leaves your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, or telemetry.
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
We do not have access to your contacts, meetings, or any content you enter.
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties.
There is no user account — we do not collect your name, email, or any identifiers.

Third-Party Services

MetWith does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Data Deletion

Since all data resides on your device, you have full control. Deleting the app or its database file removes all data permanently. No data persists on our servers beyond temporary encrypted sync blobs, which are automatically deleted after delivery or after 7 days, whichever comes first.

Children's Privacy

MetWith does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no children's data at risk.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify users directly — please check this page periodically.
